Our Policies

Our Policies 2007

At LawnMan Lawn Care we work hard to provide quality service at affordable rates.

We require customers to advise us of any potential safety hazards on their properties. These include, but are not limited to, sprinkler systems, holes in the ground, etc.

We require that children and pets be indoors away from our machinery for their own safety while we are working.

The day and time of the week that services are performed are solely at the discretion of LawnMan Lawn Care. If a customer does not want services performed on a weekend or holiday please let us know.

If the weather keeps us from caring for your property for an entire week, you will not be billed for that week. In other words if one week we don't cut you don't pay for that week! We'll resume mowing at the earliest opportunity. (We don't want your grass getting long either!) We will call if inclement weather prevents us from mowing.

The cost of leaf clean up, pruning, hedge trimming, picking up fruit and nuts from trees, landfill fees, or any other activity other than mowing, string trimming and blowing, is not included in estimates given for mowing unless previously negotiated.

Accounts are due by the 15th of the month unless other arrangements are made with us. On the 16th a late fee of $5 will be assessed and every 30 days after that another $5 will be assessed. Services will cease 30 days after the first late fee is assessed unless payment is received, or arrangements for payment have been made. Clients will also be responsible for all attorney/legal fees associate with collection and court costs.

Services may be cancelled at any time by either party. Upon cancellation payment for services rendered is due in 15 days. Late fees will be applied as noted above.

There will be a $35 fee for returned checks.

Although we have not raised our prices during the mowing season in the past, due to the continuing energy crises we reserve the right to add fuel surcharges should fuel prices require an increase.

We ask that customers pick up children's toys from their yards before we arrive to render service. (Don't let this overly concern you, I have three children myself. I realize that this is not always possible. I just thought I'd ask!)

While we routinely carefully move items such as picnic tables to cut underneath of them, there are some yard items that we will not move. They include but are not limited to: trampolines, children's swing sets, or any item that appears as though it could be damaged by moving it. The protection of your property is one of our top priorities.

We ask that our customers let us know of any special events that they have planned so that we can adjust our schedule if possible, to insure that the property is looking its best during the event. (And we don't show up to mow during your party!)

If there are any problems or complaints (or compliments!) please do not hesitate to contact us. You will speak directly to the owner. Your satisfaction is our goal!
